Terms of service
The GitHub App is not open for installs yet. These terms apply to every installation once it opens.
1. Who we are
Queue to Main is provided by Silvan Jost, Schmiedstrasse 28, 3284 Fräschels, Switzerland. Contact: [email protected].
2. The service
Queue to Main is a GitHub App that merges pull requests one at a time after testing each on top of the latest base branch, as described on the front page and in the setup doc. It needs the permissions listed there. It is a single-lane queue: no batching, no parallel lanes.
3. No uptime guarantee
The service is provided as is, without a guaranteed availability. It fails open: if it is unavailable, pull requests are not merged by it, and you can merge them yourself as usual. It does not change your branch protection.
4. Your responsibilities
- You decide which repositories the App may access and keep your branch protection and CI configured.
- Code merged by the App is your code, approved by your reviewers and tested by your CI. You remain responsible for what is merged.
- The extra CI runs on test branches are billed by your CI provider to you.
- You use the App in line with GitHub’s terms.
5. Price, trial and cancellation
- $49 per month per GitHub organization, for up to 25 active contributors (people who opened or pushed to a pull request in the organization in the last 30 days). Taxes may apply where required.
- 14-day free trial from install, with no payment details needed. You are charged only if you subscribe.
- The subscription renews monthly until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in the Stripe customer portal in two clicks; it then ends at the end of the paid month.
- Without an active subscription after the trial, the App stops queueing new pull requests. It never blocks normal merging.
- We announce price changes at least 30 days in advance by email; they apply from the next billing period after that.
6. Ending the service
You can uninstall the App at any time. If we discontinue Queue to Main, we give subscribers at least 30 days’ notice and refund prepaid time pro rata.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damage, lost profit, or for code merged after passing your own reviews and checks. Liability for intent and gross negligence is not limited.
8. Data
We process data as described in the privacy policy. We store no source code.
9. Law
Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Fräschels, Switzerland, unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
10. Changes
We post changes on this page with a new date and notify subscribers by email at least 30 days before material changes apply.
